<span class="center-text"; style="font-weight:600">»I attended a seminar on that.«
...was a thought I had whenever somebody would bring up some kind of sociocultural topic. During and after my studies I came into contact with a plethora of fascinating issues from different concepts of time to commemorative practices which influence our everyday lives. Now, there is this vast treasure box of subjects which would simply be stuck in a metaphorical drawer.
Part of that treasure box has been aesthetics and even more so arts & design. They have always been a cornerstone of the human experience and I found myself naturally being drawn to exploring them on an everyday basis; seeing and questioning beauty and concepts of sensuous perception.
And what could be more compelling to further that exploration than delving into matters of psychology - investigating the human psyche and the sociocultural bedrock it was built on?

I also created this webpage since I had the professional chance to learn about numerous fascinating innovation projects. The range of innovation research is tremendous, spanning creative housing projects, intelligent fabrics and space robots.
Moreover, sustainability became a key issue for me as it is the key to keeping Earth habitable. So I want to share my findings - from technological discoveries to policy decisions.
These days none of these fields would be imaginable without groundbreaking technology that can be used to solve health issues, bridge language gaps or calculate climate models, while always trying to keep their larger (future) impact in mind.

...and Quotes. Why those? Because I like 'em! They are thought-provoking, funny but always witty pieces of texts I come across in the literature I consult or mediums I listen to or watch. If they function as a gateway to deeper exploration or even make you laugh... I think that would already be serendipitous.

Sources: range from online articles over studies to scientific monographs. Since I live in Germany a part of the sources and topics will also focus on the things happening over here. However, I will always consider the larger picture, including intercultural and transcultural aspects.
